Pringo Helps PCGCampbell Create Traction for Yokohama Tire Corporation
by Press Release

Los Angeles, CA - October 31, 2007 - Integrated communications company PCGCampbell has adopted Pringo's white-label social networking platform to create an innovative marketing campaign for high-performance tire manufacturer Yokohama Tire Corporation (Yokohama). PCGCampbell chose Pringo's technology to power a complete social media Web site for a contest designed to promote Yokohama's commitment to the environment and create an environmental community.

Using Pringo's feature-rich platform, PCGCampbell built an online forum for consumers across the US where visitors can create profiles, communicate with each other and form sub-communities. Users are also able to submit their environmental projects, created to help preserve their respective communities, to potentially win prizes, including an eco-trip to Costa Rica and gift certificates from Patagonia and iTunes.

Pringo's complete social-networking and media-sharing platform helps PCGCampbell facilitate a community among current and potential customers. Goals of the campaign are also to reinforce Yokohama's online branding, increase its user base and enhance the company's position as a socially-aware tire manufacturer that is focused on protecting the Earth. The site is available at wwwecotreadsetters.com

"Pringo's social-media expertise and feature-rich technology made it the perfect vendor to help us inject energy and innovation into our campaigns," said Dan Criscenti, VP of interactive media at PCGCampbell. "We're very impressed by Pringo's responsiveness and efficiency. We needed this project done very quickly, and Pringo's ability to affordably deploy our application within a tight timeframe made them an ideal partner. Pringo's customer care reflects the quality-of-service we aim to offer our clients, and its flexible, scalable platform has us recommending social media projects to many of our clients as part of their online marketing initiatives."

Pringo's consulting services help businesses form an aggressive online strategy to excel in a competitive market. Its technology offers more unique features than any of the leading networks, offering each customer's audience more functionality than Bebo.com, MySpace, Tribe.net or YouTube. A robust, third-party tracking system and traffic monetization features provide a transparent, revenue-generating tool to help organizations flourish quickly on the Web. The power and flexibility of Pringo's solutions enhance any company's Web site within minutes.

"PCGCampbell's customer base, ranging from automotive manufacturers and motor sports companies to financial services clients and non-profit environmental organizations, can benefit greatly by adding a social media aspect to their site," said Gary Hall, president of Pringo. "As the only provider of both hosted and non-hosted social media solutions, while also offering a complete Internet consultancy, Pringo is a preferred choice among businesses looking to strengthen online branding. Our solutions help companies like PCGCampbell meet the business objectives of its clients by attracting and influencing online audiences across the globe."

Pringo's customer base includes media outlets, high-profile corporations and marketing agencies such as 11on11.com, CBS Radio and ePharma. For more information, please visit www.pringo.com.

About Pringo.com
Los Angeles-based Pringo.com was created in 2002 when two visionaries saw the potential of the Internet to be a gathering place for individuals worldwide to communicate and share common interests. After collecting thousands of domain names and building each site from scratch, the co-founders' idea was to create a scalable and fully extendable platform that would allow new features to be added on without interrupting existing Web site functions. Pringo currently has over 400 features and is continually adding new ones, all of which can be added to current or new Web sites, market-ready within weeks. Pringo's executive team has extensive leadership in the social networking industry. The company's philosophy centers on a unique vision and innovative technology that utilizes the best software to help clients penetrate their particular market and stay current within the fast-moving online world. Good to see that social media companies are finally seeing the huge potential in the market for corporate social networking. I agree that video is the most engaging form of online media today, and it only looks like it is set to get bigger. It seems though, that the concept of using social networking and video for businesses to increase engagement and enhance communication, both externally and internally, has not really reached its full potential.
Given the fact that social networking sites are one of the most visited and popular sites on the internet, it is surely only logical that big brands and corporations should use this to their advantage and create their own ones? Web 2.0 technologies should be used not only for video solutions but to ultimately bring a website alive, encompassing other features such as blogs, forums, RSS and teams.
There are others in the market that I have come across that offer enhanced functionality and better back-end management. http://www.brandstation.tv/
