NEW YORK, NY – February 12th, 2007 – Last Thursday, female (and some male) advertising executives came out in the bitter cold to celebrate at CORIO in
New York City
. Why? They were celebrating the one year anniversary of their favorite networking portal: AdFemme.com.
AdFemme.com was created out of the need for women in a male-dominated industry to network, teach and learn from each other. “When I went to trade shows all the guys had male focused events. I felt left out. I am so glad Lindsay created this community so that we can all co-mingle and have fun and be self expressed” – Julie Tripi, Account Supervisor at Euro RSCG.
The “Ad Femme Birthday Party” got started at 7pm with Barefoot Bubbly & POM cocktails, and was followed by 3 hours of premium open bar, pass hors d’oeuvres, dinner, prize giveaways, karaoke, and gift bags.
