Join the Philadelphia Interactive Marketing Association (PhIMA) at Lucky Strike Lanes
by Erin Ritter

(Philadelphia, PA)  PhIMA (http://www.phillyinteractive.org), a newly formed professional association for Philadelphia’s growing interactive marketing community, will host an evening of bowling and networking at Lucky Strike Lanes on Tuesday, October 24, from 6-9 pm.  The event is sponsored by AOL and Advertising.com, and is free to enter.  Donations will be taken to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand for pediatric cancer research.  Lucky Strike Lanes are located at 1336 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia, and interested guests should RSVP to phimaorg@aol.com.

“While we’ll all be aiming for a strike, the real goal of this event is to score for charity.  PhIMA’s partnership with AOL and Ad.com gives us an excellent opportunity to raise money for a great cause, network with our peers and show our commitment to the community,” said Jessica McManimen, PhIMA President and Director of Operations at NetPlus Marketing.

Established in 2005, PhIMA has quickly gained momentum and currently has over 200 members.  In addition to periodic social and networking events, PhIMA will focus its efforts on professional education and training programs, increasing awareness for the industry, and charitable work.  “We believe in the mission of PhIMA, which is to foster the common passion for and dedication to the interactive medium and excited to be an integrated part of the Philadelphia market,” says Kathleen Kayse, executive vice president, sales & partnership alliances, AOL Media Networks.
