Victoria, British Columbia, April 1, 2008: Neverblue Media, a Canadian online marketing company that specializes in affiliate marketing, announced today that it has appointed Hakan Lindskog as the company’s new President. Current President and company co-founder, Todd Dunlop, will transition to an active role on Neverblue Media’s recently formed Board of Advisors. Over the next several weeks, Dunlop will work closely alongside Lindskog to ensure a smooth time of transition for the company.
Hakan Lindskog has extensive experience in the direct marketing, media and e-commerce industries. A native of Sweden, Lindskog has focused his career on the management and leadership of direct marketing companies in the positions of CEO, President, COO and Managing Director. His past experience includes leading as President of the International Master Publishers Group’s US subsidiary where he doubled the company’s revenue over a three-year period. Most recently, Lindskog was the Managing Director of Time Life, a major direct marketer of music and video collections. Hakan earned a Master of Science, majoring in Finance and Accounting from the University of Agriculture in Uppsala, Sweden.
The past year has marked a time of transition for Neverblue Media. The company was acquired in February 2007 by online marketing giant, Vertrue Incorporated. Since the acquisition, Neverblue Media has doubled its annual revenue and grown its staff in Victoria, British Columbia by 20%. The addition of Hakan Lindskog to the executive management team will continue to position Neverblue Media as a leader in the affiliate marketing space.
