 Not too long ago, a MediaPost article spoke about the author’s trials and tribulations as a result of spyware on his machine. I don’t remember the exact story – I certainly tried finding it albeit not that extensively – but it certainly involved the havoc caused by such a program.

A little more than one week ago a press release went out that seemed as though it should have generated more interest than it did. The company behind the release, Snap.com, offers a product unlike any other on the market.

"Tip: If you travel alot - you know that many airports have wi-fi. So, its easy enough to link up using the free (sometimes fee based) wi-fi provided by the areas in the airport that support it. However, when you are riding to the airport in the cab, or you are in an airport that does not have wi-fi, or even in a meeting at a restaurant that does not have wi-fi or internet access, it is a good idea to get a PCS card. I use a Sprint card, for $80/month - but I hear you can get one from T-Mobile for $20 something per month. It is well worth the investment, and any road warrior knows how valuable it is to have this access.  "
