As
e-mail, cell phone, and instant messaging have become
ubiquitous in the workplace, the opportunities afforded by
face-to-face communication have never been more important.
Tony
Venables, an economist at the London School of Economics,
believes that businesses that thrive on face-to-face
communications—commonly referred to as F2F—now account for a
growing share of economic activity.
According to an international survey conducted by RoperASW
and TANDBERG, business professionals believe that
face-to-
face
communications
is the preferred form of communication for 12 of 18 business
objectives.
